Our Services
We offer a range of personalised speech and language therapy services for children, families, schools and nurseries. From assessments and ongoing therapy to school support, consultations, training and specialist reports, our approach is always child-centred, neuro-affirming and tailored to individual communication needs
Initial Assessment
Our initial assessments provide an opportunity to get to know your child, understand their communication strengths and explore any areas where they may need additional support. We begin by gathering information about your child’s development, interests and everyday experiences before carrying out a combination of play-based, informal and, where appropriate, formal assessment activities. We take a child-led, low-pressure approach, allowing your child time and space to feel comfortable and communicate in their own way. Following the assessment, we will share our findings with you, discuss any recommendations and work together to identify the most helpful next steps for supporting your child’s communication.
1:1 Therapy
Our 1:1 therapy sessions are tailored to your child’s individual communication strengths, needs and interests. Through engaging, play-based activities and meaningful interactions, we create opportunities to develop communication skills in a relaxed, supportive environment. We follow your child’s lead, building on their interests and using an approach that respects their individual communication style, whether this involves speech, gestures, signs, AAC or other forms of communication. We also work closely with families, sharing practical strategies and ideas to help support communication beyond the therapy room and in everyday life.
Report Writing
We provide clear, detailed and personalised reports to help families, schools and other professionals better understand a child’s communication strengths, needs and support requirements. Reports may include assessment findings, recommendations and practical strategies to support communication across home and educational settings. We can also support with EHCP applications and reviews, annual reviews, Tribunal documentation and other specialist reports, ensuring each document reflects the child’s individual profile and provides meaningful recommendations to help them access the support they need.
