Imogen Satur
Director, Speech and Language Therapist
I have 10 years experience working as a speech therapist and founded The Little Yorkshire Speech Co in 2023.
I completed my speech therapy training at the University of Sheffield and am qualified to masters degree level. I am a member of The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and a member of The Association of Independent Speech and Language Therapists.
I specialise in speech & language delay, speech sound disorder, developmental language disorder, Autism (with a particular interest and experience in Gestalt Language Processing), Stammering and more.
I am passionate about doing things a little differently in the private speech and language therapy space! I pride myself on how I communicate with the families I work with and how invested I am in your child’s therapy journey. I like to think outside of the box and will not hesitate to change the plan where required!
I do not underestimate the financial and emotional commitment that private speech therapy is and work to make it worth every penny and minute spent.
My therapy approach is thorough, I get to know your child and what keeps them motivated and regulated. I tailor my speech therapy interventions to each individual child, keeping things as fun and child led as possible.
Children tend to connect with me easily through the comfortable energy I bring to sessions, perfected through daily practice at home with my own 4 year old daughter and two crazy dogs!
A connected, at ease and regulated child is a child who is primed for learning. Your child’s emotional wellbeing will always be at the forefront of our work together.

Becky Hurst
Director, Speech and Language therapist
I joined The Little Yorkshire Speech Co as Director in 2025, bringing over 10 years of experience as a Speech and Language Therapist. I hold a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Sheffield and am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I am also a member of The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and The Association of Independent Speech and Language Therapists.
I am friendly, approachable and highly experienced, having worked across a variety of settings in both the public and private sectors. I take a child-centred and empathetic approach, building strong connections with children and their families. I tailor therapy to each child’s individual needs, interests and motivations, creating a fun, engaging and safe environment where children feel regulated and ready to learn.
Having three boys of my own has taught me so much about motivation, play, and regulation, and has given me a deep understanding of how much a child’s well-being means to their parents. It allows me to empathise with families, appreciate their hopes and concerns, and empower them to support their child’s growth.
I bring warmth, energy and creativity to every session, helping children feel connected, confident and ready to reach their full potential.

Clare Brown
Speech & Language Therapist
Hi! I'm Clare! I have 10 years experience supporting families in various capacities and have a passion for supporting families and their children to meet their goals.
Building on my experience with supporting families, I completed my degree in Speech and Language Therapy at Sheffield University in 2022. I am fully registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Health and Care Professions Council. I am also a member of the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice.
Since qualifying I have been lucky enough to have gained a wide range of clinical experience both in the NHS and private sector. I work with children and young people with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs. I am experienced in supporting children with speech sound disorder, language delay, Autism, and Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).
After an initial assessment, I work collaboratively with families and schools to plan and deliver high quality therapy. Therapy sessions are bespoke and adapted to meet the unique needs and interests of the child.
I pride myself on making sure that key people in the child's life have access to the tools they need, to support the child's communication. I am flexible with the therapy plan with the focus always being on ensuring effective and enjoyable sessions.
Outside of work, my 3 children, cat and rabbit keep me pretty busy! When I do get time to relax, I enjoy playing the piano, going to the theatre, and family walks in the Peak District.
